Isabel was born on the Australian mainland in Melbourne. She has a father who is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family is from the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Together with her sister Nina her schooling was in schools where First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel lives in the Byron Bay area of NSW Australia. Isabel began her acting career at school. After that, Isabel went to Brisbane University of Technology (Victorian College of Arts) and also the Perdekamp Emotional Method. It was not until she auditioned for parts until she was spotted by her agent in 2002. She auditioned for part on Home and Away (1988). She was a candidate for the role in Home and Away (1988). She spent 3 years playing her first role on television and got an Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her role. In 2008, Isabel moved her home to Los Angeles. The film that made her famous was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). In the time since Isabel has appeared and been awarded many US as well as Australian movies. Isabel was recently as a character in Bosh & Rockit, a movie which is rapidly becoming an Australian classic. In addition, she was a part of the upcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she's currently working for the character of Marie Curie for Radiant. The film will be directed by the award-winning Annika Glac.
